System Analyst

cBridge
We are looking for a System Analyst to join our Engineering team and work on a new Anti-Fraud product focused on complex integrations, data processing, and platform-level technical logic.

The core of the role is turning business needs into clear, developer-ready technical requirements and designing how systems, services, APIs, and data flows should work together. We are looking for someone with strong system analysis experience rather than a primarily business-analysis background.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and formalize business and technical requirements for engineering initiatives, services, and integrations
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for developers
  • Design and document complex integration flows between systems and services
  • Identify gaps, dependencies, edge cases, and technical risks before development starts
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications, data flows, system interactions, business rules, and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with Product Managers, developers, QA, and other stakeholders throughout implementation
  • Support refinement, planning, and solution-design discussions
  • Validate delivered functionality against agreed requirements and support QA with business and system logic
  • Use AI tools for requirements analysis, research, documentation, and routine analytical tasks, while critically validating generated outputs
Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience as a System Analyst working with technically complex software products
  • Experience translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements and implementation-ready documentation
  • Strong understanding of backend and platform architecture, microservices, and system integration principles
  • Practical experience with different types of integrations and APIs; experience beyond simple frontend REST APIs is particularly important
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous processes, service-to-service communication, and complex integration flows
  • Experience describing system interactions using sequence diagrams, data flows, API specifications, database models, or similar technical artifacts
  • Good understanding of data storage, data processing, and database concepts
  • Ability to analyze complex systems, identify dependencies and edge cases, and structure ambiguous technical problems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as a bridge between business and engineering
  • Comfortable working independently and handling several technical initiatives in parallel
  • English sufficient for technical documentation and cross-functional communication
  • Practical use of AI tools in daily analytical work
Experience in fintech, trading, payments, crypto, iGaming, or other integration-heavy / real-time systems would be a strong advantage, but direct domain experience is not required.

Conditions

  • Private medical insurance
  • Support with settling into life in Cyprus, including basic guidance on everyday matters, accommodation, banking, healthcare, and migration matters
  • A comfortable office environment with fresh fruits every day, treats or pizza on Wednesdays, and snack day on Fridays
  • Fair remuneration based on your experience, skills, and level of responsibility
  • Welcome Baby Bonus and Baby Box to celebrate the arrival of a child
  • Birthday voucher
  • Partial compensation for sports activities and wellness initiatives
  • Greek language classes
